🪩 The bride (aka Sabrina) is waiting at her house with all of her close and extended family for the groom (aka Nader) to come and whisk her away back to his home. This symbolizes that the bride is now leaving her family to join another.

🪩 Meanwhile, the groom is waiting at his house for all of his close and extended family to arrive so they can go pick up the bride together.

This is why Sabrina and Nader's guests have to separate the night before the wedding. Her guests need to be waiting with her until Nader and his guests come to take her away.

It just so happens that Sabrina and Nader live 45 minutes away, so we are trying to make Nader's guests' lives easier by placing them closer to his house the night before the wedding. Although, again, you are not obligated to do that - you'll just have an additional 30 minute drive from Cherrytales Hotel to his house in the morning (which Sabrina and Nader can coordinate for you in advance).

🪩 Once the groom and his party arrive at the bride's house, they do some dancing, serve some sweets, and then the bride rides shotgun with the groom as they make their way back to his house.

🪩 Whoever was not present at the bride or groom's house (mainly friends of both families) received an invitation to come to 'Taheni', which is an allotted amount of time for them to come and say congratulations. Taheni takes place once the bride and groom arrive at the groom's house.

🪩 After Taheni is over, there is a short break that takes place for everyone to rest up before the reception.
